Rules
  • All virtual pilots have registration rights at AegeanVA, as long as they have account on either VATSIM or IVAO and are not CEO of any other virtual airline company, excluding Aegean Virtual Airlines subsidiaries.
  • Registration is limited to people over the age of 16.
  • Only recorded flights on the networks of VATSIM and IVAO are accepted. The flights must be submitted manually through the PiRep system or through SimAcars.
  • The staff checks the validity of all reported flights & flying hours.
  • As a new member of AegeanVA you have the obligation to submit the 1st PiRep within 15 days, after the acceptance of your application. Failure to do so, automatically sets your account to inactive, and then follows the deletion from the pilot roster for a 12 months period, without any further warning.
  • In order to preserve, your account status as "ACTIVE", you must submit at least one (1) PiRep every month. Any member is able to receive an annual leave of 60 days in total, after the notification and approval of the staff.
  • All pilots and staff members must be polite and courteous with others.
  • All members must always comply with the terms and conditions of VATSIM, IVAO and AegeanVA. Failure to comply with these terms, a warning will be issued to the member. Τhe member will be removed from AegeanVA if he/she continue to not comply with the terms and conditions.
  • If a member, for any reason, cannot fly for an extended period of time, he/she must inform a member of staff.
  • Any new member who wants to transfer his/her flying hours to AegeanVA, should speak with a member of staff and submit proof.
